Monitoring and management system

In this Work Package, a system for monitoring and managing Chess Setup operation will be designed. The main objective is to optimize the system according to a range of external factors, such as the electricity price, weather forecast and specific user requirements. The system will also consider the benefits that could arise from the interconnexion between Chess Setup heating system and the electricity grids - mainly linked with the possibility to reduce the demand peaks thanks to Chess Set Up's inertia, and the deployment of renewable energies.

The monitoring sytem and the management system designs will be lead by Wattia-Innova, with the contribution of BCN Ecologia, Lavola, Electric Corby, Sant Cugat del Vallès, and Veolia. The integration to the electric system will be lead by BCN Ecologia, with Wattia-Innova, Lavola, and Electic Corby.
